Sales Engineer - UK



The Position

Sales Engineer selling high technology metrology equipment to manufacturing industry in the UK. Principal target market sectors are aerospace, automotive, metal and composite fabrications.

Employment Experience

The successful candidate must have a successful track record selling capital equipment within the industrial marketplace. Experience launching new products and market knowledge of the aerospace and automotive sectors would be an advantage.

Experience with point cloud processing (such as Innovmetric Polyworks or Geomagic), laser scanners (including Faro, Metris/Nikon, Hexagon etc), white light scanners / fringe projection systems (GOM, Steinbichler, Breuckmann) would be an advantage.

Job Description - Sales Engineer

Reporting to the Head of Sales, the role is to promote and sell the company’s products to various levels of staff at businesses in the target market sectors. Typical points of contact may range from Quality Engineers/Directors, Production Engineers/Directors, Engineering Managers/Directors to Managing Directors.

While the company has an active and growing PR and lead generation program, the successful candidate will be required to proactively prospect in the marketplace to help create their sales pipeline.

 A highly capable technical sales support team exists within the business to assist with product demonstrations and trials.
