GEM Studio

A powerful suite of tools to configure and operate a Quartz scanner. Within GEM Studio, each individual tool focuses on the key task of gathering measurement data – and providing confidence in that data.

GEM Scan has an easy to use interface, with configurable levels of user access for typical shop floor environments – providing a simple interface for operators, while offering advanced users all the power of the scanner. It includes cross–checks to ensure that the data is accurate – and that the scanner is within calibration.

GEM Align can combine multiple scans taken from multiple angles, or of different aspects of a component – doing so quickly and easily. This is either based on an enhanced photogrammetric approach, or on the texture of the object itself – often the only practical way of performing alignments where the use of photogrammetric targets is not an option, such as in the maintenance of fast jets, where minimization of FOD (Foreign Object Debris or Damage) is critical, and where even a photogrammetry sticker is a hazard to a jet engine.

GEM Calibrate provides an easy to use system for calibration of a scanner, allowing users to recalibrate whenever required.

GEM Studio is compatible with all the industry leading analysis and CAD/CAM tools, supporting major file formats as standard.
